Découvrir le mouvement punk en réaction au mode de vie de leurs aînés.
- Le mouvement punk est apparu au cours des années 1970.
- Leur coiffure et leurs vêtements montrent leur appartenance à cette communauté qui revendique la liberté de création.
The movement was born in the middle of the 1970s, when the hippy movement started to disappear, and like their predecessors, the punks reacted against the way their parents were living, and wanted to be the champions of a cultural renewal where freedom of creation would prevail. If the hippies have almost disappeared from our cities, it is still possible to meet some punks now. They are easily recognisable. They are usually dressed in cheap leather black jackets decorated with nappy pins, chains or nails, all cheap accessories, they have got tight trousers, black boots and they usually adopt the “Mohawk hairstyle” which makes them look like a Native American. The fact of wearing the same clothes is a way of showing that they belong to the same community, a community sharing the same tastes and the same ideology. Of course their look is a bit aggressive and provocative, but it conveys the idea of freedom, dear to their hearts.
